1. Behavior and Policies During Live-Streamed Events
At World Virtual Tours, we value the respect and positive engagement of every participant. To ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all, the following behaviors are strictly prohibited during events, especially in the chat:
- Making offensive or inappropriate comments to other participants
- Expressing offensive views related to religion, politics, sexuality, or social issues
- Disrespecting or questioning the guide in a hostile manner
- Discussing topics unrelated to the tour
- Promoting external activities or services
- Mentioning or promoting competing events or platforms (free or paid)
- Sharing links of any kind
Anyone who violates these rules will be immediately reported to Zoom and Eventbrite, removed from our channels, and permanently banned from future WVT events.
2. Event Access and Customer Responsibilities
To access an event, please:
- Click Join/View Event from your confirmation email (Eventbrite)
- Use the Direct Zoom Link included in reminder emails
- Visit the Eventbrite event page on your browser (desktop or mobile), log into your account, go to “Tickets”, and click “Go to online event page” > “Join Now”
IMPORTANT: You are responsible for following these instructions. We are not liable for failure to access the event due to user error or missed emails.
3. Emails and SPAM Folder Delivery
Please check your spam or junk folder to ensure you receive emails from:

4. Time Zones and Starting Times
Please pay close attention to the event’s starting time and your local time zone.
To avoid confusion:
- Visit each event page on our website for a local time conversion
- Add the event to your calendar to receive accurate reminders
We are not responsible for any misunderstanding of time zones or missed events.
5. Kindness and Seat Cancellation
Seats for our events are limited. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation before the event begins so that another participant may take your place.
6. Tipping and Refund Policy
Our guides are supported entirely by your tips.
All events are 100% free to attend. If you enjoyed the experience, you are welcome to leave a donation in any amount.
- Most of your tip goes directly to the guide
- The remainder helps us continue providing free cultural programming
Tips are voluntary and non-compulsory. Confirmation receipts are sent by Stripe or PayPal.
Refunds are always honored upon request and typically processed within 2 business days, no questions asked.
7. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This Acceptable Use Policy outlines behaviors that are strictly prohibited on the World Virtual Tours platform. By accessing or using our services, users agree not to engage in any behavior that:
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law
- Involves fraud, deception, or misleading practices
- Distributes content that is hateful, obscene, discriminatory, or abusive
- Disrupts or attempts to disrupt the platform’s operations or security
- Seeks unauthorized access to user accounts or systems
- Promotes or facilitates illegal financial services, gambling, pyramid schemes, or adult content
World Virtual Tours reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to any user found violating this policy, with or without prior notice.

8. Guide Reviews and Public Feedback
Each of our guides has a dedicated profile page on our website. After attending a virtual tour, participants are encouraged to visit the guide’s page and leave a public comment or review about their experience.
These reviews help:
- Maintain a high-quality experience for all participants
- Highlight the strengths and specialties of each guide
- Provide transparency and build trust with new attendees
Feedback is reviewed by our internal team. Inappropriate or abusive comments may be removed.

9. Intellectual Property and Copyright Reporting
While we do not allow third-party sellers to publish content independently, we collaborate with a small number of vetted guides who may share materials during live events.

We will review the report within 48 hours and may suspend or remove the content as needed. In cases of confirmed infringement, the collaboration with the guide may be terminated.
